FCC General Radio Operator (GROL) Course Successful completion of this training program will enable the student to successfully pass: Element One: Basic radio law and operating practice. To pass this element an examinee must correctly answer at least 18 out of 24 questions. Element Three: General RadioTelephone. Electronic fundamentals and techniques required to adjust, repair, and maintain radio transmitters and receivers. To pass and examinee must correctly answer at least 57 out of 74 questions.
